Front End - Drupal Developer

We are looking for experienced, skilled, creative thinking front end developers to work on exciting and challenging front-end projects and be part of a team of self driven people with an ownership mentality. The ideal candidate will have a background in comprehensive site building, scalable module development, as well as a firm understanding of the front-end theming system.

Position Requirements & Responsibilities:

• At least 2 years of Drupal experience (versions 7 and 8).
• Familiarity with server side and browser scripting.
• Committed to developing clean, stable, fast, well-tested code.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Knowledge and expertise with all major browsers, platforms and devices, and the special considerations for their various quirks and compatibility issues (CSS3, JS, HTML5).
• Has developed custom Drupal modules and is active in the Drupal community.
• Experience with mobile platforms.
• Ability to perform complex Drupal development tasks including custom module development using the Drupal API system and hooks from major Drupal core systems.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 2+ years MySQL or other significant SQL database experience.
• 2+ years PHP 5 or other significant programming experience.
• Experience in an Agile SCRUM development lifecycle.
• Experience designing and coding websites using standards compliant code (ex: W3C)­­­.
• Experience with Git Source Control Mechanism.
• Experience working with jQuery and other various libraries and frameworks (bootstrap, angularJs, backbone, etc).
